Walking with Deers exhibition at Teggs Nose Country Park

I have just finished handing my Walking with Deers exhibition at Teggs Nose Country Park in Macclesfield.

Having spent many years developing a close relationship with both Red and Fallow Deer’s which has allowed me to capture the most outstanding images of deers, which can be see as large canvas prints.

Kenko 2100 light meter

I have been using the Kenko 2100 light meter which used to be an Minolta meter for many years know. I have had no problems with this meter it is both an ambient and spot light meter.

I mainly use this meter for studio work with the Elinchrom BX500RI flash units and have found it the perfect light meter. The images below were metered with the Kenko light meter, I have found it invaluable in the studio if you need to balance you lighting set ups in the studio then this meter is perfect.

LYME PARK CELEBRATES 200 YEARS OF ‘PRIDE AND PREJUDICE’ WITH ‘THE ONLY WAY IS PEMBERLEY’ FEATURING MATT BLONC

Matt’s photographs of Lyme Hall and gardens will feature this celebration as his photographs  inspired magnificent view of Lyme hall, his work was described as by the National Trust as:-

His bold and vivid photographs capture the iconic views and landscapes Jane Austen so colourfully describes and Elizabeth Bennet so understandably falls in love with.

It’s nearly two decades since Lyme Park featured as ‘Pemberley’ in the 1995 BBC television adaptation of Jane Austen’s ‘Pride and Prejudice’. Yet today it is still remembered as the backdrop to the scene when a soaking wet Mr Darcy, (played by Colin Firth), emerged from his swim in the lake to meet a startled Elizabeth Bennet (played by Jennifer Ehle). “We still get hundreds of people asking about Darcy and Lyme’s part in the TV series” says Anthony Willder, Lyme’s Commercial Manager.

“In fact a poll earlier this year put this scene at the top of the most memorable TV drama moments of all time, despite several other film versions of the book since then.” In homage to ‘Pride and Prejudice’ in the 200th anniversary year of its publication, Lyme Park has embraced all things Austen with its 2013 winter exhibition,

Deer Photography Workshop in Cheshire

Deer Photography Workshop for groups or one to one training focusing on wildlife photography.

Learning how to photograph red and fallow deers in rut.

 

You will learn the in-camera skills, techniques and knowledge for effective and successful wildlife photographs. If you are heading on holiday to Africa or India – this workshop will ensure you have the nessesary camera-skills required before you leave to get those wow-factor images.

Equipment required: You are not required to have any prior knowledge, but a 300mm lens (zoom or fixed) or longer is required. It is also recommended to have a 400mm lens or longer if possible, and walking boots.

It does not matter what level of photographic skill you possess, just bring your passion and willingness to learn and Matt will do the rest!

This is a unique photography training experience.
